Hmmmm. Pretty good Matt. I guess there will come a time when 80's retro will become more in the public eye. Yeah, I know it has been before, but maybe not to the level it could be. Periods come and go etc.

You're a really great songwriter and this really captures the wonderful sound of the 80's. What's great is that you've taken your musical influences and created a sound of your own. The mix is a perfect balance and I love your vocals! I really think that you should be able to release your music commercially. Are you recording these in your own home studio?!

Vocals are ok... From my opinion, you could add a little variation in the melody...
Not too sure abt it because I don't really know how techno style is...

This is great! It does sound a lot like 80's, but with more of an indie-pop/electronica feel than rock and roll. It's something different, which is really great. Do you play everything in here (Keyboards, guitar, and I guess drum machine programming)? If so, kudos, that's incredible talent (even if you don't, it's still an awesome sound).

Hey Matt:

I actually produce film and video on the East Coast. I am just turning in my dissertation work. I want to talk to you about your 80's sound. Love it and I'm early 40's so I lived the 80's. I am creating videos of my subjects for my documentary portion of my dissertation. Several of the people that I interviewed for the research (all eight) are in the business. I want to talk about getting to use a track or two for the score and giving you credit. As new media is all about collaboration. I like the driving beat music under while folks are talks and I like lyrics when I show shots of Hollywood, Florida , Riverwalk etc.

Strong Depeche Mode influence, but more simple and repetitive. The better DM songs have a lush texture from many layers of sound, kinda like Mark Rothko's paintings.
